PGSC Recruitment 2023: Pushpa Gujral Science City (PGSC) is an ambitious project of the Punjab government to promote scientific temper among the people of Punjab and to create awareness about the latest developments in science and technology. The Science City has been named after the late Smt. Pushpa Gujral, the wife of former Prime Minister of India, Sh. I.K. Gujral. The Science City is located in Kapurthala, Punjab, and is spread over an area of 72 acres.

The Science City has been a great attraction for students, teachers, and tourists since its inauguration in 2005. It has been successful in providing a platform for the promotion of science education and research in the region. PGSC Kapurthala has been actively involved in organizing various events, workshops, seminars, and exhibitions to create awareness among the people about the latest developments in the field of science and technology.

The Science City is looking to hire candidates for various positions, including Assistant Manager 01 post and Science Guides ( 06 posts)

Assistant Manager (Marketing) -01 post (OBC) [Rs. 25,000/- p.m. fixed consolidated plus travel (as per PGSC norms) + incentive]
Science Guides - 06 Posts (1-PH, 1-0BC, 4-Gen) (fixed remuneration Rs. 18,000/- or Rs. 20,000/- p.m based on qualification)
QUALIFICATION DETAILS PGSC RECRUITMENT 2023
The Science City is looking for candidates who have a degree in science or engineering from a recognized university. Candidates with a post-graduate degree in science or engineering will be given preference. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. They must also have a passion for science and technology and a strong desire to learn.

Graduate with 1st Class MBA(preferably Marketing) from a University/ recognized Institute or Master’s Degree in Mass Communication 2 years experience for MBA in Marketing or Event Management or Public Relations. M.Sc. (Physics) / B.Tech. (Electrical/Mechanical) – 2 posts ( 1-OBC, 1-Gen)
Maths-
B.Sc. (PCM)/B.Sc. (PCM) with B.Ed.) /M.Sc. (Maths)– 1 post ( 1 –Gen)
Env. Science-
M.Sc. (Env. Science) or B.Sc. (PCB) /B.Sc. (PCB) with B.Ed. – 1 post (1-Gen)
Computers-
