WEEKLY REST GROUP D EMPLOYEES: ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਦਰਜ਼ਾ-4 ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਫਤਾਵਾਰੀ ਰੈਸਟ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ

Keeping in view the difficulties being faced by group D class employees, DPI has issued instructions.
According to these instructions. (Memo No: 11/258-2012 ME(6)/3281/ Dated: 28-09-2015) it has been decided that all employees falling in Group -'D' Services, who are performing the duties of Chowkidars in Government Schools as well as in subordinate offices of the Department of Education may be granted a weekly rest.
It may be ensured that the day of such weekly rest should be convenient administratively.
It may further be ensured that where there is only a single employee is posted in a school/office/ institution for performing the duties of Chowkidar, in such cases an another employee of Group 'D' services should be entrusted the duties of Chowkidar for a day of weekly rest to be given to Chowkidars on a rotation basis as an alternate arrangement and such employees will not be entitled to any extra remuneration for performing such duties. For making only this alternate arrangement, all employees of Group 'D' Services working in different Institutions shall be at the disposal of concemed Drawing and Disbusing officer of complex school.
ਸਮੂਹ ਡੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਣੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦਿਆਂ ਡੀ.ਪੀ.ਆਈ. ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸਮੂਹ 'ਡੀ' ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਜੋ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਦਫਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੌਕੀਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਡਿਊਟੀਆਂ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਨੂੰ ਹਫ਼ਤਾਵਾਰੀ ਆਰਾਮ ( Rest) ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਹਫਤਾਵਾਰੀ ਆਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਜਨਕ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਪੱਤਰ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਚੌਕੀਦਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਡਿਊਟੀਆਂ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਸਕੂਲ/ਦਫ਼ਤਰ/ਸੰਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਹੋਵੇ, ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰੁੱਪ 'ਡੀ' ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮ ਨੂੰ ਚੌਕੀਦਾਰ ਦੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਸੌਂਪੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
ਚੌਕੀਦਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਵਜੋਂ ਰੋਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਆਧਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਹਫ਼ਤਾਵਾਰੀ ਆਰਾਮ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਡਿਊਟੀਆਂ ਨਿਭਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਾਧੂ ਮਿਹਨਤਾਨੇ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਦਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
