It was established in 2010 and is responsible for the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity throughout the state. The company also handles the billing and collection of revenue for the sale of electricity. PSPCL operates several power plants and transmission lines, and provides service to both residential and commercial customers.

Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd. (PSPCL), a power generating and distributing organization of Government of Punjab is inviting online applications from Degree/Diploma holders (passed during 2020, 2021 & 2022), for undergoing 1 year Graduate/Technician apprenticeship training under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 (as amended from time to time).
Only Punjab resident/domicile candidates will be considered.
