Attendance Scholarship to BC/EWS Primary Girl Students(State Plan
Scheme)
Introduction
It has been observed that the number of Backward Classes and Economically weaker families are much less than their population in Educational Institutions because of heed to the education of their female child. It is a fact that if at all these girls are admitted in the schools, they leave their studies in between for so many reasons, i.e. to assist their parents to augment the family income by taking up menial jobs or for domestic work in the absence of their parents when they are away from home for doing labour work/jobs etc. Keeping these circumstances in view, the State Govt. decided to adopt some ways and means so that the dropout tendency is checked at primary stage of education.
