PUNJAB POLICE RECRUITMENT OF INTELLIGENCE ASSISTANT AND CONSTABLE IN Investigation Cadre IN THE RANK OF CONSTABLE
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ 26 ਜੁਲਾਈ 2021 ਨੂੰ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਅਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਵੈਸਟੀਗੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੇਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ, ਇਹ ਭਰਤੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕੀ ਸੀ । ਇਸ ਭਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਹੁਣ ਦੋਬਾਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰ ਨੰਬਰ 3, ਮਿਤੀ 26 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2021 ਵਿਚ ਅੰਸ਼ਕ ਸੋਧ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
1. In partial modification of Advertisement No. 3, dated 26 July, 2021, the examination for Recruitment to the post of Intelligence Assistant (In the rank of constable) in Intelligence Cadre of Punjab Police and Constable in Investigation Cadre of Punjab Police shall now be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) pattern in OMR mode instead of the Computer Based Test(CBT) mode. As such, the words Computer Based Test /Examination used in Advertisement No. 3, dated 26 July, 2021be read as OMR based MCQ Test/Examination. ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰ ਨੰਬਰ 3, ਮਿਤੀ 26 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2021 ਦੀ ਅੰਸ਼ਕ ਸੋਧ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਕਾਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਅਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ (ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਦੇ ਰੈਂਕ ਵਿੱਚ) ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਾਡਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਦੀ ਭਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਹੁਣ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਟੈਸਟ (CBT) ਮੋਡ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਏ OMR ਮੋਡ ਵਿੱਚ MCQ (ਮਲਟੀਪਲ ਚੁਆਇਸ ਸਵਾਲ) ਪੈਟਰਨਵਿੱਚ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ।
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, 26 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2021 ਦੇ ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰ ਨੰਬਰ 3 ਵਿੱਚ ਵਰਤੇ ਗਏ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਟੈਸਟ/ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਨੂੰ OMR ਅਧਾਰਤ MCQ ਟੈਸਟ/ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਜੋਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
2. In order to provide opportunity to aspirants, who may not have applied earlier in view of the exam being scheduled in Computer Based Test mode, fresh applications, with prescribed fee as given in Advertisement No. 3, dated 26 July, 2021, are invited from such aspirants, who fulfill the eligibility criteria as mentioned in Advertisement No. 3, dated 26 July, 2021and corrigendum published on 22.08.2021. ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਕਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਅਧਾਰਤ ਟੈਸਟ ਮੋਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਤ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ 26 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2021 ਨੂੰ ਇਸ਼ਤਿਹਾਰ ਨੰਬਰ 3 ਵਿੱਚ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਨਿਰਧਾਰਿਤ ਫੀਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ।

3. Further, if a candidate, who had applied earlier, wishes to make corrections in the data entered in the previous application, she/he may apply afresh with the prescribed fee. In such a case her/his latest application shall be considered as final.
4. The recruitment portal shall remain open with effect from 4.00 PM on 19August, 2022 to 11.55 PM on 09 September, 2022 for receiving fresh applications from the above-mentioned aspirants. 5.All other applicants, who do not wish to make any corrections in the application submitted by them
earlier, need not apply again. All candidates shall, however, be issued fresh Admit cards for exams, the
date(s) for which shall be notified separately. 6. With reference to Para 5.2 in Advertisement No. 3, it is again clarified that essential eligibility for the minimum age shall be 18 years as on 01 January, 2021, as published in Corrigendum dated 22 August, 2021.
7. With regard to Note 1 to point no. 5.3.1 of Advertisement No. 3, dated 26 July, 2021 it is clarified that the date for fulfilling eligibility conditions with respect to educational qualifications is 28 August 2021, which was the last date o f submission of online application as per Corrigendum dated 22 August, 2021. All eligibility conditions and cut-off dates for fulfilling eligibility conditions remain the same as mentioned in Advertisement No. 3, dated 26July, 2021 and Corrigendum dated 22 August, 2021.
8. With respect to point no. 7.2 of Advertisement No. 3, dated 26 July, 2021, it is clarified that no normalization shall apply in case each paper is conducted for all candidates in one go.
9.In partial modification of point no. 14 (xix) of Advertisement No. 3, dated 26 July, 2021, regarding the online application procedure, it is notified that the last date & time for submission of online application by aspirants/candidates as mentioned in paras 2 and 3 above shall be 11.55 PM on 09September, 2022.
10. With respect to point no. 16 of Advertisement No. 3, dated 26 July, 2021, it is clarified that toll free number would start functioning to help candidates applying for recruitment from 10 am on 19 August, 2022.

PAY SCALE PUNJAB POLICE INTELLIGENCE ASSISTANT The pay for the post of Constable has been fixed at Rupees 19,900/- (minimum pay admissible) at Level 2 of 7th CPC/
QUALIFICATION FOR PUNJAB POLICE INTELLIGENCE ASSISTANT RECRUITMENT : Candidate should be a) a graduate from a recognized University or Institution, as the case may be, provided that such candidate shall also possess an ‘O’ Level Certificate of Information Technology from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology(NIELIT) (earlier called as DOEACC);
OR b) a Graduate from a recognized University or Institution with • Computer Science; or • Computer Applications; or • Information Technology as one of the elective subjects during the entire duration of graduation;
OR c) B.Sc/B.Tech/BE in • Information Technology; or • Computer Science; or • Computer Engineering; or • Computer Science & Engineering; or • Information Systems; or • Computer Networking; or Data Science; or • Software Engineering; or • BCA;
Candidates must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi upto 10th class.
