ਸਿੱਧੂ ਮੂਸੇਵਾਲਾ ਕਤਲ ਕੇਸ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ, ਡੀਜੀਪੀ ਵੀ.ਕੇ. ਭਾਵਰਾ ਨੇ ਏ.ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ. ਐਂਟੀ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਟਾਸਕ ਫੋਰਸ (ਏ.ਜੀ.ਟੀ.ਐਫ.) ਪ੍ਰਮੋਦ ਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਹੇਠ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਜਾਂਚ ਟੀਮ (ਐਸ.ਆਈ.ਟੀ.) ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਨਰਗਠਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਡੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ. ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਐਸ.ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਅਧਾਰ ‘ਤੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਰੇਗੀ, ਇਸ ਘਿਨਾਉਣੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿ੍ਰਫਤਾਰ ਕਰੇਗੀ।
In order to further expedite investigations in Sidhu Moosewala Murder case, DGP VK Bhawra strengthened & reconstituted the SIT under supervision of ADGP Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Pramod Ban. DGP stated that SIT shall conduct investigation on a day-to-day basis.
