CHANDIGARH, 7 FEBRUARY
Grant of one premature increment to those employees who did not participate in thes trike resorted to by the employees on 08.02.1978.
Punjab govt directed all districts education officer to ensure compliance of the
directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India given in case of CA NO. 3487-3492 of 2004 decided on
12.02.2015 in letter and spirit.
It has also been directed to withdraw the benefit of one premature
increment granted conditionally in pursuance of instructions dated 20.12.2012 from all concerned
employees without effecting any recovery from them.

DPI has said "Inspite of having been issued reminders to this effect, no compliance report has been
received in this office as yet. Therefore, in order to make compliance of the directions of the Hon'ble
Supreme Court of India given in the aforesaid matters, it is once again requested to expedite the
necessary action in accordance with the instructions given through letter under reference, if not done
earlier, and a compliance report thereof be sent immediately to this office.
It is further directed to fix
responsibility of those who have not complied with said instructions of the department and names of
such erring officials may also be intimated as well."
