S. Mukhwinder Singh Chhina Takes Over as IG Patiala Range, today, here. An IPS officer of 1997 batch, Mr Chhina has earlier served as IG Human Rights, in addition IG Crime PBI, Punjab. He has also served as IG of Bathinda and Ferozepur, earlier.
After taking charge , he said that to maintain law and order in Patiala range, would be his top priority. He said that he would also ensure that every person who come to police for getting resolving his complaint could not feel harassed. He siqd that he has issued directions to the SSPs falling in Patiala range to ensure transparency in working of police and tough stand to criminals.
