National Scholarship Portal (NSP) Open for SC Students: Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, has opened the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) for Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarships for students belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC). Eligible students from the following states and union territories can apply: Assam, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Meghalaya, Puducherry, Punjab (only for Pre-Matric), Sikkim, Tripura, and Uttarakhand.
### Pre-Matric Scholarship
Eligibility:
- - Students belonging to the SC category.
- - Parents' or guardians' annual income should not exceed Rs. 2.50 Lakhs.
- - Students studying in classes 9 and 10 in recognized schools.
Entitlement:
- - Academic allowance ranging from Rs. 3500 to Rs. 7000 per annum.
- - 10% extra allowance for Divyang (specially-abled) students.
Post-Matric Scholarship
Eligibility:
- - Parents' or guardians' annual income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 Lakhs.
- - Students pursuing recognized courses in schools/colleges from class 11 onwards.
Entitlement:
- Compulsory non-refundable fees (including tuition fees).
- Academic allowance ranging from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 13500 per annum.
- 10% extra allowance for Divyang (specially-abled) students.

- Students should have a valid mobile number, Aadhaar (UID) number, Aadhaar-seeded bank account, income certificate, and caste certificate.

ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਯੋਜਨਾ SC ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਓਪਨ
ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਸ਼ਕਤੀਕਰਨ ਮੰਤਰਾਲਾ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ SC ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਮੈਟਰਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਪੋਸਟ-ਮੈਟਰਿਕ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਪੋਰਟਲ (NSP) ਤੇ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਸੀਂ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ, ਦਾਦਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਹਵੇਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਉ, ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼, ਜੰਮੂ ਅਤੇ ਕਸ਼ਮੀਰ, ਮਨੀਪੁਰ, ਮਿੱਘਾਲਯਾ, ਪੁਡੁਚੇਰੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ (ਸਿਰਫ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਮੈਟਰਿਕ ਲਈ), ਸਿੱਕਿਮ, ਤ੍ਰਿਪੁਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਖੰਡ ਦੇ ਹਨ।
### ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਮੈਟਰਿਕ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ
**ਯੋਗਤਾ:**
- - SC ਵਰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਤ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ।
- - ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਆਮਦਨ 2.50 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।
- - 9ਵੀਂ ਅਤੇ 10ਵੀਂ ਕਲਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ।
ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ
- ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ 3500 ਤੋਂ 7000 ਰੁਪਏ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ।
- ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ 10% ਵਾਧੂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ।
ਪੋਸਟ-ਮੈਟਰਿਕ ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ
ਯੋਗਤਾ:
- - ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਆਮਦਨ 2.5 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ।
- - ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ।
ਸਕਾਲਰਸ਼ਿਪ
- ਗੈਰ-ਵਾਪਸੀਯੋਗ ਫੀਸਾਂ (ਟਿਊਸ਼ਨ ਫੀ ਸਮੇਤ)।
- 2500 ਤੋਂ 13500 ਰੁਪਏ ਸਾਲਾਨਾ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ।
- ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ 10% ਵਾਧੂ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ।
### ਅਰਜੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਅਪਡੇਟ
- ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਮੋਬਾਇਲ ਨੰਬਰ, ਆਧਾਰ ਨੰਬਰ, ਆਧਾਰ-ਜੁੜੇ ਬੈਂਕ ਖਾਤਾ, ਆਮਦਨ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣ ਪੱਤਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
