ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ, 4 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2024: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਏ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾਯੋਗ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੁੱਭ ਅਵਸਰ 'ਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਰਾਜ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ ਵੰਡ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਮਾਰੋਹ 5 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2024 (ਵੀਰਵਾਰ) ਨੂੰ ਸਵੇਰੇ 11 ਵਜੇ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਸਿਟੀ ਸੈਂਟਰ, ਨੇੜੇ ਸਰਵਿਸਜ਼ ਕਲੱਬ, ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸ. ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਜੀ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਹੋਣਗੇ, ਜਦੋਂਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸ. ਹਰਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ।
ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਹਾਰਦਿਕ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

Punjab School Education Board Announces Nominations for Various Teacher Awards
Chandigarh:13th July 2024 The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced the nomination process for the State Teacher Awards, Young Teacher Awards, Administrative Awards, and Special Teacher Awards for the year 2024. The online nomination process is now open on the ePunjab School portal (epunjabschool.gov.in) until 22nd July 2024.
According to the issued circular (Memo No. SED-EDU6/2024/877229 dated 5th July 2024), the Punjab Government, Department of Education, has called for nominations from all eligible teachers and school principals. The process includes self-nominations or nominations by school management.
Award Categories:
1. State Teacher Award:
- Open to school principals and teachers with at least 10 years of teaching experience.
- Nominees should have made significant contributions to the field of education.
2. Young Teacher Award:
- Open to teachers with less than 10 years of experience.
- Nominees must have made impactful contributions within three years of service.
3. Administrative Award:
- For educational administrators and headmasters with significant contributions to school administration.
- Nominations should come from district education officers or equivalent authorities.
4. Special Teacher Award:
- For teachers recognized for exceptional work, especially those who have received state awards or other significant accolades.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nominees must be actively serving in their respective roles.
- Nominees with any pending charges of misconduct or legal issues are ineligible.
- Detailed eligibility criteria are available on the ePunjab School portal.
Screening and Selection Process:
- A dedicated committee from the MIS Wing will screen the nominations.
- The final selections will be announced in August 2024, and awards will be presented on Teacher’s Day, 5th September 2024.
