Punjab Government Bans Unauthorized Teacher Transfers
Chandigarh, July 15, 2024 ( JOBS OF TODAY) In a significant move to streamline the transfer process for teachers in Punjab, the state's Directorate of School Education (Elementary) has issued a strict order prohibiting unauthorized transfers.
The order, issued on July 15, 2024, states that many Block Primary Education Officers (BPEOs) have been transferring teachers without proper approval, leading to administrative chaos.

To curb this practice, the department has directed all District Education Officers (Secondary) to immediately cancel any unauthorized transfers made by BPEOs.
The government has also warned that any future unauthorized transfers will result in disciplinary action against the responsible officials.
This development comes as a part of the state government's efforts to improve the efficiency and transparency of the education sector.

15 ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2024 ਨੂੰ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਬਲਾਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਇਮਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ (ਬੀਪੀਈਓ) ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਬਾਦਲੇ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਉਲਝਣ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਗ਼ੈਰ-ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫ਼ਸਰਾਂ (ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ) ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਬੀਪੀਈਓਜ਼ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਾਰੇ ਅਣਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਤਬਾਦਲੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਰੱਦ ਕਰਨ।
ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਅਣਅਧਿਕਾਰਤ ਤਬਾਦਲੇ ‘ਤੇ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
