Punjab School Education Board's instructions for entering Internal Assessment (INA) marks
The Punjab School Education Board has issued instructions to schools regarding the entry of INA marks for students in classes 10th and 12th. Schools must enter INA marks subject-wise according to the Scheme of Study. If a student is absent, 'ABS' should be written in INA. If a student's eligibility is canceled, 'CAN' should be written in INA. Schools are not allowed to change any subject online.
Schools must take a Rough Print Out before final submission and check the entered marks of the students subject-wise. After final submission, the online data will be locked and no changes will be allowed regarding the marks.
The sole responsibility for entering incorrect marks lies with the school principal/teacher. The portal will not be live to enter INA marks after the specified dates.
The correct method of entering INA marks is that if the student has 10 marks, 010 should be entered in the INA column, and if the student has 1 mark, 001 should be entered. INA should only be sent to the office online.
The original print of the final submission should be verified by the school principal and kept in the school records. Photocopies should not be kept in the records.
The time for entering INA for class 10th is from 05-02-2025 to 20-02-2025, and for class 12th, it is from 28-01-2025 to 14-02-2025.
