ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ - 2024 ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ

ਰਾਜ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੇ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ 2024 ਦੀਆਂ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਤਿਆਰੀਆਂ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਆਰਕਸ਼ਨ (ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵੇਸ਼ਨ) ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਬਿੰਦੂ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੇ ਹਨ:
1. ਸਾਰੇ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਕਿ SC ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਰਕਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਰਾਜ ਐਕਟ 1994 ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਕ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ।
2. ਆਰਕਸ਼ਨ ਲਈ ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਲਦੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ।
Preparation for Upcoming Panchayat Elections - 2024 and Reservation of Seats
The State Election Commission, Punjab has issued directives to Commissioner , Village Development and Panchayat Department to make necessary preparations for the upcoming Panchayat elections scheduled for 2024. These preparations include ensuring the reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes (SC) and other categories as per the guidelines set forth in the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act of 1994.
The key points of the directive are as follows:
1. All relevant officers must ensure that the reservation process for SC and other categories is carried out strictly in accordance with the Act and related guidelines.
2. The notification for reservation should be issued promptly to facilitate timely preparations for the elections.
The Commission emphasized the importance of adhering to these instructions to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the elections. Any changes or updates in the instructions will be communicated by the Commission in due course.
