ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮਿਡ ਡੇਅ ਮੀਲ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਡ-ਡੇ-ਮੀਲ ਦੀ 100% ਐਸਐਮਐਸ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਿੰਗ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਮਿਡ ਡੇਅ ਮੀਲ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਲਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ (ਡੀ.ਈ.ਓ.) ਨੂੰ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਕੂਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਿਡ-ਡੇ-ਮੀਲ ਦੀ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਮ.ਐੱਸ. ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਭੇਜਣਾ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ।
ਇਹ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ PSEB ਨੂੰ MHRD, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਮਿਲਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਕੂਲ SMS ਰਿਪੋਰਟਿੰਗ ਲਈ 100% ਟੀਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਮਿਡ-ਡੇ-ਮੀਲ ਸਕੀਮ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਫੰਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਵੰਡ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਲਾਂ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
MDM ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਨੇ ਡੀਈਓਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿਡ-ਡੇ-ਮੀਲ ਡੇਟਾ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਧਾਰਾਤਮਕ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
PSEB ਨੇ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਸਕੂਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਿਡ-ਡੇ-ਮੀਲ ਦੇ ਅੰਕੜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਹੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਕੀਮ ਲਈ ਫੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਟੌਤੀ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।
Punjab School Education Board Directs Schools to Ensure 100% SMS Reporting of Mid-Day Meals
The MDM SOCIETY Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has directed all district education officers (DEOs) in the state to ensure that all schools send daily SMS reports of mid-day meals served to students.
The directive comes after the MDM SOCIETY received reports from the MHRD, Delhi that many schools are not meeting the 100% target for SMS reporting. This is causing problems for the government in monitoring the mid-day meal scheme and ensuring that funds are allocated correctly.
The MDM SOCIETY has asked the DEOs to identify schools that are not reporting their mid-day meal data and to take corrective action. This may include working with schools to correct any issues with their UDISE codes or providing them with technical assistance.
The PSEB has warned that if schools do not start reporting their mid-day meal data accurately, it could lead to funding cuts for the scheme.
