Government employees in Punjab to be deployed for Lok Sabha elections
The Election Commission of India has directed that government employees in Punjab be deployed as Supervisors and BLOs for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, which are scheduled to be held on June 1, 2024.
A letter from the Assistant Returning Officer (Assembly Segment)-cum-Sub Divisional Magistrate, Patran, to the Heads of all Departments in Constituency 117-Shuttrana, requests that officers and employees who have been assigned election duty be relieved from their regular duties so that they can focus on election work and ensure that the elections are conducted smoothly and efficiently.
