Punjab Education Department Launches 'Teacher Fest 2025-26' to Showcase Innovation
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab has launched the Teacher Fest 2025-26 under its Teacher Exchange Programme to encourage and share innovative teaching methods among the state's educators.
The festival aims to promote creativity and innovation in classroom teaching. It provides a platform for teachers to showcase the Teaching Learning Material (TLM) they have developed to make the teaching-learning process more engaging and effective for students.
Festival Schedule and Participation
The two-day festival is mandatory for teachers and lecturers of all subjects from all government middle, high, and senior secondary schools across Punjab.
The event will be conducted in four batches at both the Block and District levels as per the following schedule:

Teachers interested in participating must register online by November 19, 2025.
Competition Categories
Teachers can participate either individually or in groups across the following ten categories:

Manual Games or Video Games for Learning

One Act Play

Handwriting and Calligraphy

IT Tools and Use of Technology in the Teaching-Learning Process

Recreational Activities (Puzzles, Quiz, Brain Teasers, etc.)
Awards and Recognition
The competition will be held in two stages — Block Level and District Level — before advancing to the State Level Teacher Fest.
Block Level:
The top three participants in each category will receive a Certificate and a Trophy/Memento. The first and second place winners from each category will qualify for the District-Level competition.
District Level:
The top three participants in each category will be honored with a D.E.O(SE) Certificate, Trophy/Memento, and a special Teacher Kit. The kit is proposed to include useful teaching accessories such as a folder, highlighters, board markers, sticky notes, stapler, planner, and a small diary. The first-place winners will then qualify for the State-Level Teacher Fest.
All participants at both Block and District levels will be awarded Participation Certificates.
Financial Provisions
To support the smooth conduct of the event, the Education Department has sanctioned funds of ₹20,000 per block and ₹50,000 per district for necessary arrangements and logistics.
