CBSE Offers Flexibility for Holi-Clashing Hindi Exam
New Delhi, March 13th, 2025 ( PBJOBSOFTODAY )- The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a unique provision for students taking the Class XII Hindi Core (302) and Hindi Elective (002) examinations, scheduled for March 15th, 2025. This decision comes in light of the Holi festival, which in some parts of the country, either falls on or extends to the same date.
Recognizing the potential conflict, CBSE has decided to allow students who find it difficult to appear for the exam on March 15th to opt out without penalty. These students will be given an opportunity to take the exam later, alongside those who qualify for special examinations, such as students participating in national or international sports events.
This move by CBSE addresses concerns raised about the clash between the exam date and regional Holi celebrations. While the festival is primarily celebrated on March 14th, 2025, some regions may have celebrations on the 15th, or the festivities may spill over.
The board emphasized its commitment to student welfare while maintaining the integrity of the board examinations. By providing this flexibility, CBSE aims to ensure that students are not disadvantaged due to cultural or religious observances.
This decision follows CBSE's earlier announcement of releasing the exam date sheet three months in advance, allowing students ample time for preparation. The board believes this proactive approach helps students manage their studies more effectively.
Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj, Controller of Examinations, reiterated CBSE's dedication to student well-being and the smooth conduct of the board examinations. This provision for the Hindi exam is a testament to the board's understanding and accommodative approach.

ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ, 13 ਮਾਰਚ, 2025 - ਸੈਂਟਰਲ ਬੋਰਡ ਆਫ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ (ਸੀਬੀਐਸਈ) ਨੇ 15 ਮਾਰਚ, 2025 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਲਾਸ XII ਹਿੰਦੀ ਕੋਰ (302) ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਇਲੈਕਟਿਵ (002) ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਲੱਖਣ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਹੋਲੀ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਂ ਤਾਂ ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੰਭਾਵਿਤ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਸੀਬੀਐਸਈ ਨੇ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ 15 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਸਮਰੱਥ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਜੁਰਮਾਨੇ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਲਈ ਯੋਗ ਹਨ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਖੇਡ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ।
ਸੀਬੀਐਸਈ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਕਦਮ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਮਿਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਖੇਤਰੀ ਹੋਲੀ ਦੇ ਜਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਟਕਰਾਅ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਠਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਚਿੰਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਮੁੱਖ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ 14 ਮਾਰਚ, 2025 ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ 15 ਮਾਰਚ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਾਂ ਇਹ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹਿ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਬੋਰਡ ਨੇ ਬੋਰਡ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਇਕਸਾਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ 'ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਲਚਕਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਕੇ, ਸੀਬੀਐਸਈ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਜਾਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਰੀਤਾਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਕੋਈ ਨੁਕਸਾਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ।
ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਸੀਬੀਐਸਈ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਦੀ ਡੇਟ ਸ਼ੀਟ ਤਿੰਨ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਐਲਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਲਈ ਕਾਫੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਬੋਰਡ ਦਾ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਅਗਾਊਂ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
