‘CSIR Innovation Awards ' competition- last date for submission of entries April 30

To encourage school children towards science, CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) Innovation Award competition is being conducted at the national level and last date for submission of entries for the same is fixed on April 30, 2021.
According to a spokesperson of the Punjab school education department the competition for the 'CSIR Innovation Award' is being organized by the Ministry of School Education and Literacy, New Delhi. Every student up to 12th standard can participate in this competition but his/her age should be less than 18 years by January 1, 2021. Fifteen awards will be distributed among the winners. The first prize will be Rs one lakh while two prizes will be Rs 50,000 each, three prizes Rs 30,000 each, four prizes Rs 20,000 each and five prizes Rs 10,000 each. These awards will be given on the occasion of CSIR foundation day i.e. September 26, 2021.
