ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਦੀ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਵਧਦਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਸਰ ਦਿਖਾਉਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ (IMD) ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਤਾਜ਼ਾ ਮੌਸਮ ਬੁਲੇਟਿਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਅਗਲੇ ਤਿੰਨ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾਤਰ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ। ਸਥਿਤੀ ਦੀ ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ‘ਆਰੇਂਜ ਅਲਰਟ’ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਲਗਭਗ ਸਾਰੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਦਾ ਅਲਰਟ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਵਰਗੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਜ਼ੀਬਿਲਟੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਹੈ।

ਪੂਰੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਸੰਘਣੀ ਧੁੰਦ ਕਾਰਨ ਯੈਲੋ ਅਲਰਟ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰਹੇਗਾ।

ਐਤਵਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੁੰਦ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਰਾਹਤ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਉਮੀਦ ਹੈ। ਮੌਸਮ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਚੇਤਾਵਨੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਬਾ ਗ੍ਰੀਨ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹੇਗਾ।
