3. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed the Matriculation (10th Class) examination from a recognized educational institution.
• Essential: Candidates must have passed Punjabi as a subject at the Matriculation level.
• The qualification certificate must be issued on or before the last date of application.

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2025)

The age criteria as per Punjab Government instructions are as follows:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• General Category (Max): 37 Years
• SC / BC (Punjab Residents): 42 Years
• State/Central Govt Employees: 45 Years
• PWD (Handicapped): 47 Years

4. Salary & Pay Scale

Selected candidates for all Group D posts (Sewadar, Chowkidar, Mali, Fisherman, etc.) will receive a salary as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations:

• Pay Scale: ₹18,000 - ₹56,900 (Level 1).

5. Application Fee

The application fee must be paid online. Fees once paid are non-refundable.

Important Note for Old Applicants: Candidates who had applied for Sewadar and Chowkidar posts under Advt. No. 10 of 2024 (which were withdrawn) are exempted from paying the fee again. However, they MUST apply again under this new Advertisement (08/2025) using their old Login ID and DOB.

7. Selection Process

3. Counseling/Document Verification: Candidates will be called for counseling based on merit to check original documents.

Note: In case of a tie in marks, the candidate older in age will be placed higher in merit.
