University Grants Commission ( UGC ) Launches Mobile-Based Digital Life Certificate Submission for Pensioners

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has introduced a new mobile-based system for pensioners to submit their digital life certificates. This initiative aims to simplify the process and make it more convenient for pensioners to fulfill the annual requirement.
Here's how pensioners can submit their digital life certificates using their mobile phones
1. Install the necessary applications: Download and install two applications on your mobile phone: Aadhaar Face RD and Jeevan Pramaan from the App Store.
2. Register as a pensioner: Open the Jeevan Pramaan application and enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, and email address. Click the submit button.
3. Verify your identity: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and press the submit button.
4. Scan your face: Follow the on-screen instructions to scan your face. Once the face scan is successful, you will be registered as a pensioner. Please wait for at least 10 minutes before proceeding.
By following these simple steps, pensioners can conveniently submit their digital life certificates without the need for physical visits to designated centers. This initiative is expected to reduce paperwork and streamline the process for both pensioners and authorities.
