Punjab School Education Board Invites Applications for the Post of Chairman
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has issued an invitation for applications for the post of Chairman. The appointment will be for a tenure of three years, beginning from the notification date. This is as per the provisions laid down in the Punjab School Education Board Act, 1969, which has been revised and amended over the years.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must have served in the Central or State Government in a gazetted position for a minimum of 15 years. Or
- The candidate must have at least 20 years of teaching experience in a school, college, or university recognized by law in India, with at least one year of service as a Principal of a college, Registrar, or Head of Department in a university.
Note: The applicant must be under 66 years of age at the time of appointment.
Other Details:
- Pay scales and allowances will be determined by the State Government as per their guidelines.

- Completed applications must reach the Secretary of School Education by September 27, 2024, before 5:00 p.m.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਬੋਰਡ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ
ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਬੋਰਡ (PSEB) ਨੇ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਦੇ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਲਈ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਮੰਗੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਤਾਇਨਾਤੀ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਦੀ ਮਿਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਇਹ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਬੋਰਡ ਐਕਟ, 1969 ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਏਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ 'ਤੇ ਸੋਧ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
ਅਹਿਤਿਆਤ ਮਾਪਦੰਡ:
- ਅਰਜੀਕਰਤਾ ਨੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 15 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਗਜ਼ਿਟਿਡ ਅਹੁਦੇ ਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਹੋਵੇ।
- ਜਾਂ
- ਅਰਜੀਕਰਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਨੂੰਨੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਮੰਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਸਕੂਲ, ਕਾਲਜ ਜਾਂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ 20 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਤਜਰਬਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਘੱਟੋ-ਘੱਟ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਲ ਲਈ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ, ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ ਜਾਂ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਵੇ।
ਨੋਟ: ਅਰਜੀਕਰਤਾ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਸਮੇਂ 66 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

- ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਆਵੇਦਨ 27 ਸਤੰਬਰ, 2024, ਸ਼ਾਮ 5:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਜਾਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਅਧੂਰੀਆਂ ਜਾਂ ਦੇਰ ਨਾਲ ਆਈਆਂ ਅਰਜ਼ੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬੂਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
