ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਭਾਰਤ, NCERT ਪੈਨਲ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। NCERT ਪੈਨਲ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪਾਠ-ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ "INDIA" ਨੂੰ "ਭਾਰਤ" ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲਣ ਦਾ ਸਰਬਸੰਮਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਕਈ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਤਾਵਿਤ ਇਸ ਬਦਲਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਣ ਰਸਮੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਮਿਲ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
NCERT panel recommends:
1. Introducing ‘classical history’ instead of ‘ancient history’.
2. Introduction of Indian Knowledge System (IKS) in curriculum for all subjects.
3. Highlight victories of Kings/Queens against the invaders.
4. Replacing India with Bharat in textbooks.
