Punjab School Education Board Chairman recruitment 2023
Applications are invited for the post of chairman, Punjab School Education Board for a term of three years from the date of notification of appointment as per the principal act of Punjab School Education Board 1969, and as amended/revised from time to time.
Eligibility Conditions for Pseb chairman recruitment:
(a) The applicant must have served the Central Govt. or State Govt. or both on a gazetted post for a period of not less than fifteen years;
or
(b) Must have experience of teaching in any school, college or University established by law in India, or partly in one and partly in any other of the aforesaid institution for a period of not less than twenty years, out of which he/she should have served as Principal of College or Registrar or Head of the Department of such a University for a period of not less than one year.
2. Appointment as Chairman shall not continue beyond the age of 66 years.
Pay scale and allowances : pay scale will be decided as per guidelines of the State Government from time to time.

An application in the prescribed form (available on website www.punjab.gov.in and www.pseb.ac.in) complete in all respects must reach the office of Principal Secretary, School Education, Room No. 720, Punjab Civil Secretariat-2 (Mini Sect.),Sector-9, Chandigarh by 27.01.2023 before 5.00 p.m. 5.

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) was established in 1969 under a legislative act of the Government of Punjab to administer the curriculum taught in public schools in the Indian state of Punjab.
The board is responsible for conducting the secondary and senior secondary school examinations in the state, as well as prescribing the syllabus and curriculum for these classes.
Additionally, the PSEB also provides affiliation to private schools, and is responsible for the development and promotion of education in the state. The head office of the PSEB is located in Mohali, Punjab.
