Qualification and Physical Efficiency
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects up to Matriculation.
Physical Standards:
Warder (Male):
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches (5 feet 4½ inches for Dogras and Gurkhas)
- Chest: 33 inches unexpanded, 34½ inches expanded
- Vision: Normal in both eyes (with or without spectacles), must not be color blind
Matron (Female):
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches
- Weight: 50 kg and above
- Vision: Normal in both eyes (with or without spectacles), must not be color blind
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Warder (Male):
- 100 Meters Run: 15 seconds (only one chance)
- Shot Put (7.26 kg): 5.50 meters (three chances)
- Rope Climbing: 15 feet (three chances)
Matron (Female):
- 100 Meters Run: 18.5 seconds (only one chance)
- Shot Put (5.443 kg): 4.00 meters (three chances)
- Rope Climbing: 12 feet (three chances)
Pay Scale
The initial pay scale for the posts of Warder and Matron is Rs. 19,900/- as per the 7th Pay Commission, along with other allowances as per Punjab Government norms.

- SC/BC/EWS: Rs. 400/-

- 2. Physical Measurement Test (PMT):- (i) Physical standards Minimum Height:
