1. Detailed Scheme of Studies (ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ)
The Punjab School Education Board has released a combined Scheme of Studies for Class VI and VII for the academic year 2026-27. This scheme ensures a balanced curriculum between languages, core sciences, and vocational skills.
ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ: ਹਰੇਕ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਨੂੰ ਗਰੁੱਪ-ਏ (Group-A) ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਪੜ੍ਹਨੇ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਗਰੁੱਪ-ਬੀ (Group-B) ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਨੀ ਪਵੇਗੀ। ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਜੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਜਾਂ ਉਰਦੂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਨੀ ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
2. Group-A: Compulsory Subjects (ਲਾਜ਼ਮੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ)
Group-A consists of 6 fundamental subjects that every student must study:
- First Language: Punjabi / Hindi / Urdu
- Second Language: Punjabi / Hindi / Urdu
- English: Standard English curriculum
- Mathematics: Core mathematical concepts
- Science: General Science
- Social Science: History, Geography, and Civics
3. Group-B: Elective & Vocational Subjects
In Group-B, subjects like Computer Science and Health and Physical Education are key. Additionally, students can choose one elective subject from a wide range of options such as:
ਗਰੁੱਪ-ਬੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਸੰਦ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਡਰਾਇੰਗ, ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ, ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ (Home Science), ਸੰਗੀਤ ਜਾਂ ਵੋਕੇਸ਼ਨਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ।
