Eligibility Criteria for DSSSB Recruitment 2025
Before applying, candidates must carefully check the eligibility conditions mentioned below. The educational qualification, age and other eligibility will be determined as on 07/11/2025.
1. Educational Qualification (Essential)
- For TGT (Subject posts): Bachelor’s Degree (with at least 50% marks) in the concerned subject (studied for minimum 2 years) OR Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks.
- Integrated degree option: 4-year integrated B.El.Ed / B.Sc.B.Ed / B.A.B.Ed from an NCTE recognized institute (concerned subject studied for at least 3 years) is acceptable.
- Teacher qualification: B.Ed or three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed (where applicable).
- CTET: Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE is mandatory.
- Post-specific notes: Candidates must have studied the subject concerned (e.g., Maths for TGT-Maths).
2. Age Limit & Relaxation
- Upper age limit: Not exceeding 30 years (as on 07/11/2025).
- Age relaxation as per Government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and other eligible categories.
- Contractual employees of the same department: relaxation up to the actual time spent as contractual employee (subject to a maximum of 5 years) where applicable, per government orders.
3. Experience
