GYASPURA SCHOOL 2500 STUDENTS FAKE ADMISSION: Head Teacher Booked for Alleged Fraudulent Admissions and Embezzlement
**Ludhiana, March 14, 2025 ( PBJOBSOFTODAY) – Nisha Rani, a head teacher at Government Primary School Sekhewal, Block Mangat-2, Ludhiana, has been booked by the police on charges of fraud and embezzlement. The FIR, registered under sections 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, alleges that Rani engaged in widespread financial irregularities and manipulation of school records.
According to the FIR (PGD No. 548688/549497), filed at Daba Police Station( Read) on March 13, 2025, Rani is accused of fraudulently admitting approximately 2,500 students during her tenure at Government Primary School Giaspura, Block Ludhiana-1. These alleged fake admissions were reportedly used to misappropriate funds allocated for the Mid-Day Meal scheme, student uniforms, and scholarships.

The complaint also accuses Rani of tampering with official school records to cover up her alleged misdeeds. The District Education Officer (Elementary Education) Ravinder kaur , Ludhiana, filed the complaint, leading to the registration of the FIR.

Police have initiated a preliminary investigation into the matter. The allegations have raised serious concerns about the management and oversight of government schools in the region.
