STRUCTURE OF QUESTION PAPER

Project/INA: 20 Marks

Theory
- All Questions are compulsory.
- The Question Paper will comprise 4 sections: A, B, C, and D with a total of 6 questions.
- All units of the syllabus must be adequately represented in the Question Paper.
SECTION-A: Objective Type Questions
Question No.1 will have 20 objective type questions of 1 mark each, including MCQs and questions with one-word to one-sentence answers. It shall cover the whole syllabus.
Marks: 01×20=20
SECTION-B: Short Answer Type Questions (SA)
Question No.2 comprises 9 sub-parts carrying 4 marks each. Examinees are to attempt any six of them. Answer to each question should be about 60 to 75 words. This section shall cover the whole syllabus.
Marks: 04×06=24
SECTION-C: Long Answer Type Questions (LA)
This section comprises 3 questions of 8 marks each with 100% internal choice. Answer to each question should be about 10 to 20 sentences. This section shall cover the whole syllabus.
Marks: 08×03=24
SECTION-D: Source-Based Questions (SOB)
Question No.6 comprises a comprehension paragraph from the syllabus but not necessarily from the textbook. The marks distribution for this question is at the discretion of the paper setter or as shown in the Model Test Paper.
Marks: 12
Project/Internal Assessment
The Internal assessment has the following parameters:
- Project work (as per Textbook/Syllabus) and Viva: 5+3 = 08 Marks
- Class work & assessment/Periodic Test and Pre Board: 5+5 = 10 Marks
- Book Bank or Research Study Material Related to Syllabus: 02 Marks
Total: 20 Marks

- Project submitted by the learner should be their own original work. In case of any doubt, authenticity should be checked and verified.
- Book/Research Study Material Related to Syllabus is to be submitted by the student to the subject teacher.
