The qualification for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) in the Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) recruitment is as follows:
Educational qualification: Should possess minimum Three Year Diploma in Civil Engineering from State Technical Education
Board or from a Government recognized University or Institution. Higher Qualification in the relevant discipline.
The qualification for the post Of Senior Assistant/ Inspector
(a) Graduation with 50% marks from a Government recognized University or Institution.
(b) Qualify Punjabi and English typewriting test(at typewriter or a computer) at a speed of 30 words per minute: and
(c) Possess at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands on experience in the use of personal computer or information Technology .
Age limit: The candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have crossed the age of 37 years as on the closing date of the application. Age relaxation as per notification
Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Punjabi Language: The candidate must have passed Matriculation in Punjabi or its equivalent standard.
